How to retain user id's of Users during import?

Hi,

I tried importing users from DF 1.9 to DF 2.0. However, user id’s were not retained. DF generated new user id’s for these users which caused some data relationship issues with my custom tables as I used user id as the foreign key.

I understand that there can be issues with existing users in the system having the same user id from the import file but I would prefer that those records should fail while others get imported.

Is there any way I can retain user id’s when importing?

Hi Allen. This behavior is not supported, but it looks like it should be. I’m filing a bug report.
