Push notifications coming soon?

I’ve seen some commits on the various github repos that indicate there may be some form of push notifications coming soon through integration with Amazon SNS. Would you guys be able to give us any sort of timeline for when those feature become stable, and how flexible they might be?

For example, it looked like the commits only allowed for pushing to SNS topics, but I know SNS supports pushing to a specific device if you specify the device’s registration ID. Or did I just miss the part that allows you to push to specified devices?

SNS integration will be in the next release shipping in January. Pushing to specific devices should be in there. We’ll have a blog post that will explain use cases and how to use coming January.
