# Does DreamFactory have support for Redis yet? If not, do you have any plans for it?

Just wondering if you have any plans of supporting Redis. I’m not able to find any documentation for it.

Hi, I responded in another thread.

We do support Redis for caching, but Jerry still needs to write up the docs.

What’s your use case for Redis?

That’s great! We will be using redis for our heavily used data that do not need calculations. We are also looking into using azure redis.

Please let me know when the wiki for redis is up. We are not in urgent need for it right at this moment so I don’t want to waste your time writing something up just for us. Thanks.
