Upgrading from 1.5.9 to 1.6

I am currently hosting on AWS. I tried to upgrade from the Config->Upgrade and now it is all blank.

I tried to reboot the server without any luck. I also saw someone was having my exact same issue here Upgrading from 1.5.9 to 1.6.10 on AWS Bitnami

Did you try any of the steps in Upgrading from 1.5.9 to 1.6.10 on AWS Bitnami?

I had the same grief with upgrading to DF 1.6.0 on my Bitnami/AWS platform.

Here is what i have heard from DF (as of 08-11-14):

"the version will be released as 1.7.0 - yes, MongoDB dates have been fixed in this new release. "
