Export database content

Hi,

I was wondering how I can export the data eg. the todo database to a my local PC.
Is there a export of backup tool for the df database content?

Thanks,

André

Andre,

Hey - appreciate you reaching out to the forum. Yes, you are able to export the db. Are you running on your local machine or the hosted version?

Thanks,

Hi Mark,

My db is on your hosted server at the moment.
I would like to move to local db in the future.

Thanks

André

Hey,

Take a look at this screenshot - you’re able to export an application through the ‘packages’ tab. During this process, you’re able to select which db components you’d like to include - in your case “todo.” This will get you the schema associated with the app.

When running locally, you can simply go into phpmyAdmin and export db info that way.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the info. I will give that a try.

André

Hey Mark,

Sorry, can you tell me where I can find phpMyAdmin in the local installation. I can see that phpmyadmin has been deployed. What is the URL for it?

André

What kind of installation do you have? If it’s bitnami, then simply look at my screenshot (mine’s running on windows btw)

alternatively, you can access via localhost/phpmyadmin

or in my case:

http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin/

Thanks, hope this helps.
